As I paint the Beis HaMikdash, all I can think about is capturing the feeling of Hashem’s home. Each brushstroke, each layer, is filled with meaning—symbolizing the years of waiting, yearning, and holding onto hope that the day will come. The colors reflect that almost otherworldly feeling of everything finally being whole. A life of kedusha, with Hashem’s presence among us. Coming to Yerushalayim for the Shalosh Regalim, serving Hashem together with joy. “וְהַרְאֵנוּ בְּבִנְיָנוֹ, וְשַׂמְּחֵנוּ בְּתִקּוּנוֹ” “Let us see the rebuilding, and rejoice in its restoration.” This painting is more than an image—it’s a tefillah. Weeks of work went into every detail.
